Pro Tips
- Follow the mixing ratio exactly. Epoxy finishes are chemistry-dependent -- incorrect ratios result in soft, sticky surfaces that never fully cure.
- Work on a dead-level surface. Epoxy is self-levelling and will flow to the lowest point. Use a spirit level on the workpiece before pouring.
- Pop air bubbles with a heat gun or torch held 6-8 inches from the surface immediately after pouring. Slow, sweeping passes -- do not hold the heat in one spot.
